Madhira is a dedicated gastroenterologist with Monroe Gastroenterology Clinic in Monroe, Michigan. He launched his practice in 2000 to offer high quality diagnosis and treatment for a full spectrum of diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, liver, and pancreas. Dr. Madhira performs many endoscopic procedures including EGD (esophagogastroduodenoscopy), colonoscopy, flexible sigmoidoscopy, ERCP (endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography), and hemorrhoidal banding. He sees his patients at his Clinic and has staff privileges at Mercy Memorial Hospital (Monroe, Michigan), Oakwood Southshore (Trenton, Michigan), and St. Anne Hospital (Toledo, Ohio). Furthermore, Dr. Madhira performs endoscopic procedures at the Surgical Institute of Monroe. Dr. Madhira obtained his medical degree in 1987 from Rangaraya Medical College in India. He ultimately moved to the United States and received his Masters Degree in Pharmacology from the University of Toledo in Toledo, Ohio. He completed his internship at the Good Samaritan Hospital, his residency in internal medicine at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio, and his fellowship in Gastroenterology and Oncology at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. Dr. Madhira is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. To stay current in his field, he is a member of the American Gastroenterological Association and American College of Gastroenterology.
